Sala Diaz / Wednesday
Here are some snapshots of what has developed at Sala Diaz over the past few days. It has been a lot of work but I am very happy with what we have made. The show will include one outdoor sculpture and two figures inside. We are hoping to produce a print as well by Friday. Hope you all can come if you are in town. It should be a good time with great food and a bonfire.
Ri has been my invaluable assistant while I have been here. I could not have done this without her.

First Day in San Antonio
Today was my first full day in beautiful San Antonio. People seriously could not be nicer. I spent the day searching for materials to begin building the pieces tomorrow. There is so much to be done but I feel pretty good about the progress made today. I am staying with the incredible Mike Casey at his house in the pictures. I'll post more images as it all develops.

Getting Started
Thanks for visiting the site for the upcoming show at SalaDiaz. I have just come back from Home Depot and some local dollar stores here in Brooklyn. I have also found an amazing assistant in San Antonio named Ri Baranovicht. She is beginning to work on things in San Antonio to ensure I can complete the work in just five days. I am posting a digital collage of the pictures that I took today and some pictures of tourist totems from the last century.
